The Netgear M6 Pro features a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port (LAN/WAN) that allows you to directly connect a device. In addition, MR6450 has two TS-9 RF connectors to which external antennas can be connected to boost the signal in environments where the signal is weak. The USB-C port can be used as an ultra-fast wired connection with speeds up to 5 Gbps.
The Poynting OMNI-A0402-V02-01 is a marine antenna suitable for both the 4G network and 5G network. This rugged antenna provides high gain of up to 5.8 dBi over a frequency range of 410-4200 MHz, including Band 71. The OMNI-0402 has an IP68-rated enclosure that is rugged and weatherproof for harsh marine environments.
This Poynting antenna is an OMNI directional antenna and therefore does not need to be aimed at a specific 4G LTE mast or 5G mast. In the event of a network mast failure, the antenna will automatically switch to another network mast. Whether you are moored in port or sailing along the coast, the OMNI-402 will automatically seek out and strengthen the best signal. This ensures an 4G or 5G connection at all times. The antenna comes standard with 2x2 metres of ultra-low loss HDF cable with 2 SMA male connectors. The included MFC-039 pigtails (SMA female to TS9) makes it easy to connect the Omni-402 to the Nighthawk M6 Pro's TS9 antenna ports.
